Recently, asbestos has become a significant social issue. Health hazards in various facilities and factories have come to light, raising concerns about its dangers. We originally developed a treatment agent with the support of the Ocean Policy Research Foundation to address asbestos handling in the harsh, sealed conditions aboard ships. AGUA-A3000 was developed with the support of the Nippon Foundation (Marine Production Research Foundation) to address asbestos treatment under sealed and harsh conditions on ships. It not only suppresses the dispersion of asbestos but also thoroughly pursues the safety of the agent itself, resulting in a water-soluble inorganic material that contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at all.
